Since the days in which personal computers were first introduced to the public, the software industry has been playing catch-up.  It didn't help that the computer operating system (DOS) in those early days was challenging and in no way user-friendly.

To make matters worse, the early generation of financial software tried to force industry bookkeeping principles on the user, which did not help at all and contributed to customer confusion.

Inevitably, a second generation of financial software was introduced to consumers and allowed them to keep track of their personal finances in a more user-friendly fashion.  To nobody's surprise, it became popular and grew to dominate the home-use financial software market.

With the 21^st century, consumer use of financial record-keeping software became more demanding to fit the need for more diverse uses and increased reliability.   Now this software has become readily available and more affordable than ever, allowing you the ability to enjoy complete, unprecedented control over your personal finances.

Additionally, more than one type of software can be used.  Our firm uses the latest versions of Sage Software products, most notably Peachtree.
